It's late enough that dawn's not far away, and it's cold and they're at some nondescript point on the interstate, alone for miles: they're pretty much screwed. Conrad is on his phone, a few steps away from the van and desperately trying to find someone to come and fix it - he growls, snapping his phone shut and glaring at it for a moment. This scene was so huge and emotional, I didn't know what to do, cry for the loss of his safe childhood world, joy of the plottwist, fanting and gasping because LOOK AT DAAAT
